Chandrababu, TDP stood for vile and despicable politics

Hyderabad: Senior YSR Congress party leader and party General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that lies and character assassination are rooted in the DNA of the ruling TDP. He was referring to the vilification campaign against YS Sharmila in sections of the social media.

The senior YSRCP leader added that they had lodged a complaint in Hyderabad as they had no faith in AP police. He remarked that with elections around the corner, a section of the ruling TDP had intensified this malevolent and obnoxious social media campaign.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy expressed his ire at the TDP saying that it resorted to defamation and slander since it could not counter YSRCP politically. Therefore, Chandrababu resorted to calumny.

The senior YSRCP leader pointed out that this character assassination campaign should not be seen as one directed against YS Sharmila alone, but as a slanderous campaign against women as a whole. He also questioned Chandrababu Naidu's silence in the matter and this itself proved the involvement of Chandrababu Naidu. Why did he not condemn it, unless he approved of it, the senior YSRCP leader asked of Chandrababu.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy added that just as YSRCP stood for values and credibility, Chandrababu and the TDP stood for such vile and despicable politics, driven by falsehood.
