Chandrababu found a new hobby of throwing tantrums

Amaravati: While Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is putting in all his best efforts to overcome the COVID 19 blues, TDP leadership has been irresponsible by writing incoherent letters to create a panic like situation.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Minister for Water Resources, Anil Kumar Yadav said that Chandrababu Naidu is trying to politicize every issue and thus wrote a letter to Governor stating that State government to take better measures as four members of the Raj Bhavan had tested positive to Corona. Even the leaders of the most developed countries were also affected by the virus and staff at Raj Bhavan could be no exception.

“When the State is going through turmoil, Chandrababu Naidu along with his son left the State without extending any support to the government or public. Sitting in distant house away from the State,  Chandrababu Naidu found a new hobby of throwing tantrums at the State government. Without even making a visit to a hospital in the State, he alleges that PPE kits and masks are unavailable and that the State government is hiding the number of positive cases. TDP has no moral right to level such allegations as its contribution in containing the pandemic is a big zero, ” he said.

Andhra Pradesh stands first in the country in the number of tests done per million, where almost 80,000 tests were completed so far with an average of 1500 tests per million population. Even the positive rate in the State is only 1.5 percent, which is less than half of the country’s average. Like no other State, the AP government recruited 1200 doctors, established nine laboratories, special COVID hospitals, and many more were done to control the spread of the virus. Despite having odd times, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy brought zero-interest loans for the women of self-help groups, Vidhya Deevena for students and other schemes. That is the level of efforts put by the Chief Minister and the state government in fighting against the COVID-19.
