Tadepalli, September 2: YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy strongly condemned the hypocrisy of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, describing his so-called challenges as nothing but empty cries. “If Chandrababu has the guts and courage, let him first recognize YSRCP and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the main Opposition in the Assembly. Why is he so afraid of granting this rightful status?” he asked.
“If Opposition status is granted, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will attend the Assembly and expose the government’s colossal failures. That is exactly what Chandrababu fears,” Sajjala said at the party’s central office in Tadepalli.
He pointed out that within just 18 months, the coalition has collapsed under its own failures and cannot even send its MLAs among the people. “Chandrababu’s so-called Super Six promises deceived the public, which is why coalition leaders fear being chased away,” he remarked.
Naidu hiding behind yellow media propaganda, Sajjala said: “Naidu dares Jagan to attend the Assembly, but if recognized as Opposition, YSRCP MLAs will stand firm and question his failed governance. If he has courage, let him grant the rightful status.” He further stated that Speaker has reduced the sanctity of the Assembly to abuses and foul language, acting as a shield for Chandrababu instead of protecting democratic debate.
Citing the Pulivendula ZPTC by-election, Sajjala asked: “Was that even an election? With force, intimidation, and misuse of machinery, they declared victory. If they had genuine achievements, why can’t they go door-to-door like our leaders?”
Naidu celebrating “three decades of backstabbing” against NTR. “Everyone knows how he dethroned NTR, usurped his assets, and hijacked his party. Even today, he controls NTR Trust as his personal property. This betrayal remains his political identity,” he said.
On the Rushikonda buildings,he exposed double standards: “They once falsely branded them as Jagan’s palaces. Today, their own government orders confirm they belong to the Tourism Department. This exposes their lies and hypocrisy.”
Turning to farmers’ distress, Sajjala said: “No MSP, no urea, no crop insurance. Even in Kuppam, farmers struggle for fertilizer while Chandrababu stages dramas like monthly pension drives.”
He contrasted public support: “Wherever Jagan goes, thousands gather. But Chandrababu and Lokesh move only with security, with no genuine followers. That itself shows people’s anger.”
Concluding, Sajjala said: “Chandrababu is a double-faced dramatist, suppression on one side, hollow challenges on the other. He files false cases against Sakshi to silence truth, but if YSRCP had done the same, yellow media would have faced hundreds of cases. People have already seen through this hypocrisy and are deeply disgusted with his government.”
