CBI-SIT exposes Chandrababu's lies on sacred Tirumala Laddu

Tadepalli, Chittoor, Jan 29: Former Minister and YSRCP leader R.K. Roja, Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi, and Legal Cell President M. Manohar Reddy stated that the CBI-led SIT final chargesheet has delivered a decisive blow to a politically manufactured falsehood around Tirumala laddu prasadam by the Chandrababu camp. Citing the SIT’s findings based on tests conducted by ICAR–National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, and the National Dairy Development Board, Anand, they stated that the chargesheet categorically confirms there was no animal fat, no pig fat, and no fish oil in the ghee used for laddus. They said the report, prepared under judicial supervision and filed before the court, has conclusively disproved the allegations made by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and their allies, and that the most faith-sensitive claim at the heart of the controversy has collapsed.

The YSRCP leaders criticised the ruling coalition for dragging Lord Venkateswara Swamy and the centuries-old sanctity of Tirumala into political controversy, hurting the sentiments of crores of devotees for political gain. They stated that false propaganda, public statements, and even flex boards were used to keep the narrative alive even after scientific reports were awaited and now even after they have disproved the animal fat claim. Lakshmi Parvathi said the chargesheet has established that the allegations against former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and former TTD chairpersons were false, and questioned why those who made such grave claims are now silent before the public. R.K. Roja said the SIT report is nothing short of a “direct slap,” and that the truth has come out only because the investigation and laboratory tests were conducted under national institutions and judicial oversight. She stated that the controversy was also used to divert attention from governance failures, including the Vijayawada floods, and called for moral accountability from those who made the claims.

Legal Cell President Manohar Reddy announced that YSRCP will formally complain to the police against the erection of controversial flex boards and the circulation of material not supported by the CBI chargesheet, and will also approach the High Court. He said CCTV evidence identifying those behind the flex boards is available and will be submitted in court. All three leaders asserted that continuing propaganda after the SIT findings amounts to deceiving the public and attacking Hindu faith, and demanded that the ruling coalition stop politicising Tirumala, apologise to devotees, and face legal and moral responsibility for what they termed a deliberate misuse of religion for politics.
