AP Govt Rules For Strict Adherence To Time Schedule In Issuance Of Orders

Tadepalli:Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took a serious note about the delay in the implementation of guarantees and directives for public welfare, in the name of queries.

In this regard, the Andhra Pradesh government issued a G.O. No. 128 on Business Rules, specifically addressing the Chief Minister's assurances, directives and cabinet decisions on Friday. As a part of this, the Chief Minister has broken them into three categories: Outcome, Most Immediate, and Immediate, for the immediate implementation of the Guarantees.

Therefore, to ensure the strict adherence to the time schedule in issue of Government Orders, the following amendments in the AP Business Rules, 2018 were made.

As per the new rules all files sent by the Chief Minister/ Chief Minister’s Office through e-office to all Special Chief Secretaries/ Principal Secretaries/ Secretaries to Government shall be endorsed as one of the three following categories:

a. Out Today (Issue G.O./ Action taken on Same day)

b. Most Immediate (Issuance of G.O./ Intimation of Action Taken in Five working days)

c. Immediate (Issuance of G.O./ Intimation of Action taken in 15 working days)
