Guntur, June 9: Former Minister Ambati Rambabu has condemned the arrest senior journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao and said the coalition government has been resorting to vindictive politics and has been selective on law and order issues.
Speaking to media here on Monday, he said while the coalition supporters have been using filthy language against YSRCP no action was forthcoming, while Kommineni was arrested in an undemocratic manner with vendetta.
The arrest is part of the diversion tactics and Chandrababu has shown his vengeance on an earlier occasion to sack Kommineni from N TV using coercion.
The journalist has been conducting the show with dignity unlike other channels that were using cuss words, he said.
There has been no action on those who posted objectionable material on YSRCP leadership, he said.
My complaint against two persons playing spoof on YSRCP was not considered but the police went to Hyderabad to arrest Kommineni, he said.
Serious sections were mentioned to deny bail, he said adding that those who prove to be a failure resort to such vindictive actions.
