Chandrababu Takes U-turn On English Medium

TADEPALLI: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President Chandrababu Naidu who takes U-turn always has once again taken back his statement on opposing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's initiative of introduction of English Medium in AP Government schools.

Chandrababu Naidu received brickbats after he started criticising the introduction of English Medium in government schools. His partymen were also taken to task many a time for their illogical comments on YS Jagan's government.

As a measure of damage control, Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with TDP key leaders at his residence in Undavalli on Friday and discussed the latest developments with party leaders. TDP president advised party leaders not to speak anything negative over the English medium introduced by the state government in government schools.

TDP president said that TDP is losing faith among the BC, SC and ST people because of negative publicity on English medium Schools. He asked his partymen to spread a word in public that TDP is not opposing the introduction of English medium and idea to introduce English Medium schools in all the government schools is the idea of his party in the state.
