AP people want to see YS Jagan as next CM

YSRCP leader, Jayasudha

Amaravati: YSR Congress Party President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, would ensure the welfare of all segments of society once the party comes to power, said well known actress and YSRCP leader, Jayasudha. She reminded media persons at a press conference here at the party office on Sunday, that YS Jagan had conducted a 3,648 km long Padayatra through the state to gain an insight into the day-to-day lives of the people and their suffering under the TDP regime. Jayasudha added that she joined politics to play an active role and serve the people of the state.

Jayasudha remarked that she saw how YS Jagan had suffered after the tragic demise of Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, and yet how he remained unshaken by the adverse circumstances. She commented that YS Jagan reached out to the masses of the state through his Padayatra and they in turn, showed an overwhelming response to his interactions and public meetings.

The people of Andhra Pradesh wanted to see YS Jagan as the next chief minister, Jayasudha remarked. She told media persons that the YSRCP chief was a man of credibility who stood by his word. She asserted that the YSRCP under YS Jagan's leadership would usher in an era of welfare governance based on Navaratnalu, as promised by the Party President. Jayasudha appealed to the people of the state to give an opportunity to YS Jagan to govern the state.

Jayasudha pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu who claims to have more than 40 years of experience in politics did nothing for the state over the last 5 years. She said that this was an opportune moment for the people of the state to give a decisive mandate to YS Jagan to enable him him to bring back the golden era of Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy. More than 80% of the film industry stood by YS Jagan because of they were indebted to Dr. YSR and believed in the leadership of the YSRCP chief, she added.

Jayasudha clarified that unlike what Pawan Kalyan said during his electioneering, the people of Andhra were leading secure, comfortable lives in Telangana. She vented her fury at Pawan Kalyan in this respect saying that the Jana Sena founder was propagating falsehoods for narrow electoral ends. Pawan Kalyan walked in the footsteps of Chandrababu Naidu and was reading lines from the TDP supremo's script criticising YS Jagan, Jayasudha said.
