Srikakulam: YSRCP's president of Srikakulam district, Reddy Santhi, expressed support to the people in Hiramandalam reservoir's flood-prone areas. She held Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme at Garlapadu panchayat in Hiramandalam on Saturday. She inquired about the problems faced by the expatriates and opined that they should be given compensation same as those of Vamsadhara reservoir and Polavaram project. She slammed the officers who had been neglecting the payment of RR package to expatriates and regulations. According to 2013 law, the Government was supposed to allot 5 cents of land and Rs.5 lakh for houses' construction to expats, Reddy Santhi demanded.
