Intervention of Janmabhoomi Committees
Nellore: YSRCP MP of Nellore, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, opined that resistance had built up against Chandrababu's Goverment among people for not realising poll promises. MLA Anil Kumar Yadav, Deputy Mayor Dwarkanath Reddy and Mekapati held Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme in Nellore City. They went from door to door and explained about the true colours of Chandrababu's administration to the people. They also collected opinions from people, who slammed the intervention of Janmabhoomi Committees, pushing aside the representatives elected by the people, in sanctioning good quality houses to the poor. The leaders spoke on this occasion and questioned Chandrababu's Government if at least one house had been built in the 2.5 years rule of TDP and cited that 47 lakh good quality houses had been built during the 5-year tenure of Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
Questioners are being blamed
MLA Anil Kumar Yadav criticised Chandrababu for blaming the opposition party leaders who were confronting about the realisation of TDP's poll promises of hindering the state's development. He reminded that it had been 2.5 years since TDP had promised 18-acre land in Nellore city and Rs.2 lakh assistance to build houses. He remarked that pensions also were being released irregularly and that 2000 applications were still pending for new pension with not even one being approved. Anil Kumar questioned the Government why poll promises were not being implemented yet.
