Hyderabad: Official spokesperson of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Parthasarathi today termed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu's visit to the United Nations Organization's session on natural farming a joke. Recalling Chandrababu's comments over unproductive nature of Agriculture, he asked what the AP CM would speak on farming in the State, where the State government did not provide the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Speaking to media here at the party's Central office, he said that Chandrababu had no confidence on any of his ministers.
Parthasarathi said that the ministers were not responding to specific issues in governance and that instead of them, Planning Commission Vice President Kutumba Rao was speaking to media. He criticized the TDPgovernment saying that the Amaravati Capital Region Development Agency (CRDA) was boasting of getting funds to the State at an interest rate of 10.75%.
Chandrababu will attend a session on Zero Budget Natural Farming at the UNO. The YSRCP leader threw a challenge at the government asking them to procure loans at an interest rate less than 10.50 per cent. "Kutumba Rao should not forget about his stature while making remarks. There is a suspicion over his involvement in the Agrigold scandal. He is misleading the public over farmer and DWCRA loans," he observed.
