YSRCP Protests Throughout The State

Hyderabad: YSRCP is holding agitation throughout the state on Friday in protest against Chandrababu's behaviour in the matter of special category status.
  • Leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy led the dharna in Punganuru of Chittoor district. Speaking on this occasion, he remarked that Chandrababu would be left with a black mark in the history of the state for preventing special category status from being sanctioned.
  • In the dharna held near Gandhi statue centre in Tirupati, leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and MP Vara Prasad participated. The police forcefully hindered the protests on Friday, just as they did to the candlelight rallies on Thursday.
  • At Anakapalli of Visakhapatnam district, Gudiwada Amarnath held rastha roko and was arrested by the police along with Janaki Ramaraju and Gorli Suribabu.
  • At Chilakaluripeta of Guntur district, YSRCP district president Marri Rajasekhar was house arrested by the police.
  • District party president of Ananthapuram district, Sankar Narayana, was also house arrested by the police.
