YSRCP MLA Launches 48 Hour 'Poru Baata'

YSR Kadapa: YSR Congress leader and MLA from Proddutur Assembly Constituency Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy launched 48 hour hunger strike demanding construction of houses for poor.  

The Legislator accompanied by his followers staged dharna infront of Municipal office in Proddutur. He strongly opposed collecting money from the beneficiaries.  Rachamallu pointed out that government was forcing the beneficiaries to enter agreement with poor for payment of installments in 30 months. 

Under category one scheme,  Rs 3.50 lakh is given as loan for housing which costs Rs  6.25 lakh each unit. State and centre will borne Rs 1.50 lakh subsidy each, he explained. 

The MLA also staged dharnas on drinking water crisis, pension for weavers and   removal of liquor shops from residential colonies at Municipal office in the past.
