YSRCP MLA inaugurates Ambedkar's statue

Kurnool: 

YSR Congress Party MLA Ijayya unveiled B R Ambedkar statue and  Babu Jagjivan Ram statue at BSNL centre in Kurnool district on Saturday. 


The YSRCP MLA paid floral tributes at the statues. Ijayya attended as the chief guest at the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he recalled the services of B R Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram. Several YSRCP leaders and dalith communities presidents took part in the programme.

Ambedkar, who died in 1956, was posthumously conferred the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in 1990.
