YSRCP faults Govt for hiking RTC charges

Hyderabad, Nov 5, 2013: YSRCP has
condemned the decision of the Government to hike RTC bus charges saying the
increase will pose an unbearable burden on the already suffering people.

“This is fourth time that Kiran Kumar
Reddy regime has increased the RTC bus charges. The hike to the tune of Rs.600 Cr
is highly condemnable as the commuters will be left high and dry,” party
spokesperson Janak Prasad told reporters here.

Saying that YSR regime had successfully
implemented the welfare programmes without imposing any financial burden on the
people, Janak Prasad said the Kiran regime had failed in that respect.

“People are opposing this hike and
will teach a fitting lesson to the Congress in the next elections,” he said.
