YSRCP demands CBI probe into Sadavarthi land issue

Hyderabad: The Sadavarthi Lands were given by Raja Vasireddy for poor Brahmin students to study and learn vedas whereas chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is trying to takeover the lands at throwaway price, YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said while demanding a CBI probe into the entire issue.

Addresssing the media here on Thursday, he said the TDP leader and his henchmen are ensuring that the lands are sold for throwaway to one of the TDP cadre itself and hence there are creating all possible hurdles. 

"First they tried to auction the lands at Rs 20 crore and when I highlighted the TDP notoriety in auctioning the lands, they were sold at Rs 60 crores. Now, the buyer has backtracked on the directions of Chandrababu and his son Lokesh," the MLA said. Also, false cases are being foisted on YSRCP partymen for stopping the auction in order to provide justice to the Brahmin students, he said.
