YSR Dt gains focus for united AP struggle

Hyderabad, August 15,
2013: YSR district has become a focal point of anti-division agitation with
three YSRCP leaders undertaking fast unto death protest demanding the Congress
and Centre to keep the state united.
While Rayachoti MLA
Gadikota Srikanth Reddy began the indefinite fast three days ago in Kadapa
town, Rajampet MLA A. Amarnath Reddy and Railway Koduru MLA K. Srinivasulu
Reddy began fast unto death at Rajampet and Railway Koduru respectively on
Thursday.
The three MLAs had
already quit their posts along with 13 other YSRCP MLAs protesting the Congress
leadership’s unilateral decision for the creation of the Telangana state.

Honorary President YS Vijayamma will go on an indefinite fast from August 19
at Vijayawada with the slogan “if you cannot do justice to all regions, at
least maintain status quo.”

Reddy and other YSRCP leaders have also been on indefinite fast for the last
three days along with MLA Srikanth Reddy in Kadapa opposing the unilateral
decision of the Congress leadership.
