Vijayawada: YSR Congress party senior leader K Parthasarathi urged India President Ram Nath Kovind to take serious note of the increasing attacks on dalit communities in Andhra Pradesh in the TDP regime.
Addressing the press along with YSR Congress SC Cell President Meruga Nagarjuna here, Parthasarathi said it was happy that President visited Andhra. He was also overwhelmed that he assumed the highest post in India.
The YSR Congress leader requested Kovind to ascertain the law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh as dalits were attacked and the officials intimidated by the ruling TDP leaders. He also said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ruined the entire democratic system in the state by encouraging defections in the opposition YSR Congress.
