Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will begin the much-anticipated padayatra titled Praja Sankalpa Yatra from November 6.
The six-month long padayatra will cover over 3,000 kilometers criss-crossing 125 assembly constituencies in 13 districts of the state. At a high-level meeting here at the YSRCP headquarters on Thursday, the party leaders discussed about highlighting the government's failures during the padayatra. Issues regarding plight of the farmers and government's failure in waiving farm loans were discussed at the meeting.
The padayatra will begin at Idupulapaya and conclude at Ichapuram during which YS Jagan will interact with people to understand their grievances against the government and its policies. At the conclusion of the padayatra, he will begin a bus yatra to cover the remaining 58 assembly constituencies and meet the people.
