YS Jagan Visits Paidipalem Reservoir
04 Feb 2017 2:56 PM

YSR District
: The leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, examined Paidipalem reservoir. Speaking on this occasion to the media, he remarked that Chandrababu was trying to bag the credit for the reservoir, although 80% work of the reservoir had been completed by Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy. He added that Rayalaseema would have prospered with greenery if Rs.300 crore had been spent.
YS Jagan criticised the interest Chandrababu showed towards commissions on contracts rather than projects. Remarking that probe on Purushottapatnam project's work needed not more than a constable, he opined that if Rs.120 crore compensation had been given, 45 TMC water could have been stored in Pulichintala and the 55 TMC water from Prakasam barrage running in vain into the sea could have been saved. YS Jagan commented that Chandrababu's love for projects was meant only for publicity.
