YS Jagan thanks all the teachers

Today is the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first vice president of India. His birth anniversary is being celebrated as Teacher's Day for years now. He always said that teachers should be the best minds in the country."

YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lauded the contribution of teachers in shaping the society. He said the role of a teacher in the country's development was immense. 

In his facebook post, YS Jagan said that India was a role model for other countries for giving the greatest place to a teacher—by revering a teacher as God. On Teacher's Day, he thanked all the teachers who mentored students to become better citizens.
