YS Jagan Sternly Questions Union and State Governments

Hyderabad: The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan demanded that CM Chandrababu had to apologise to the people of AP for mortgaging the special category status to the centre. After TDP hindered the discussion from happening in the assembly, he spoke to the media at the assembly committee hall.

YS Jagan, on this occasion, slammed TDP's behaviour in the assembly. He criticised the way finance minsiter Arun Jaitley had made announcement in the midnight and how Chandrababu welcomed it. Commenting that union and state Governments were looking for lame excuses to evade the sanction of special category status, he demanded that TDP withdraw its ministers from the cabinet. He opined that Chandrababu had to resign for his ethical misdeed.

YS Jagan mentioned the mistakes in Arun Jaitley's announcement point by point. He explained that the Government was bluffing as if it was offering so many benefits to the state. He commented that injustice was done in all areas including Polavaram and sanction of funds to backward districts. He remarked that the things mentioned by Arun Jaitley had already been included in the Reorganisation Act.
