Sister Nirmala, who succeeded Mother Teresa as the head of the Missionaries of Charity founded by the Nobel laureate, died at an age of 81 this morning. In relation to her death, the YSRCP President, Jagan Mohan Reddy, shared his deep condolences. Saddened by her demise, Jagan stated that, "Sister Nirmala's life was devoted to service, caring for the poor & underprivileged. Service is considered as the path by her, to help the mankind to overcome their sorrows. May her soul rest in peace stated Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sister Nirmala had not been well for past few days and passed away on Tuesday. Her body is lying in state at St John's Church in Sealdah and will be shifted to Mother House in Kolkata tomorrow. The funeral will be held at 4 pm tomorrow.
