YS Jagan meets Rajnath Singh

Delhi: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and appealed to him to take steps to initiate action against AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in the Cash for Vote scam.

YS Jagan took to the notice of the Union Home Minister as to who the TDP has offered Rs 5 crore for each vote in the recent MLC election and that the senior leader of the TDP was caught on video tape offering money.

He accused Chandrababu of turning Andhra Pradesh into a scam-ridden state. “There are at least 10 such major scams during the past one year. He has used the kick-backs from these scams to buy MLAs during the recent MLC elections in Telangana,” said YS Jagan. “

On Tuesday, YS Jagan met President Pranab Mukherjee and apprised him of the latest developments in Andhra Pradesh. He appealed to the President to initiate steps to take action against Chandrababu Naidu.
