Hyderabad: YSRCP Supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch a bus tour to take stock of all the pending irrigation projects in the state. Informing media about the details of tour, YSRCP leader Jyothula Nehru called upon everyone to join the tour. Nehru informed that the tour will begin on April 15 from Rajahmundry. All the MLAs and MPs of YSRCP will also take part in the yatra. He will also be accompanied by local leaders, farmers' leaders, youth leaders and others.
“There are many projects which were started by YSR and are at the final stages but the State is showing no interest to complete them. This fact along with other issues would be highlighted during the Yatra,” he said. Nehru said the tour was aimed at understanding the plight of the farmers. He said the TDP government was trying to scrap the Polavaram project.
As part of the tour, he would visit Godavari barrage on April 15, where he will offer prayers to Pushkara deity and later visit Pattiseema and Polavaram. He will visit Krishna Barrage on April 16 and hold Racha Banda to interact with the farmers. On April 17, Rayalseema region would be covered.
