YS Jagan attack: TDP leaders indulging in cheap acts

Tirupati: Senior leader of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that the attack on Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was carried out as part of an organised plan to eliminate the mass leader. Speaking to media here , he said that the assailant Srinivasa Rao attacked YS Jagan with an intention to kill him and that fortunately, the people's leader escaped with an injury on his shoulder.

Bhumana criticized the TDP leaders for indulging in cheap acts in envy of YS Jagan's popularity across the State. Recalling that the then Opposition leader Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy responded to the Alipiri attack on Chandrababu Naidu, he said that Chandrababu lacked humanitarian values to condole the attack on the Leader of Opposition. He also recalled that Dr.YSR conducted a silent protest near the Gandhi statue after the attack on Chandrababu.

The YSRCP is demanding a CBI investigation into the matter due to its lack of confidence in the AP Police, he added. Watch this space for more updates on YS Jagan attack.
