YS Jagan Announces Special Corporation for Weavers

Nellore: Concerned over the plights of the weavers community,  YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced he will constitute a special Corporation to address the long pending issues of  the weavers community once he comes to power in Andhra Pradesh.  

Participating in a get together programme with weavers community at kalichedu village in Venkatagiri Assembly constituency in Nellore district,  the YSR Congress leader said he wanted to see smiles on the face of every weaver. 

Under the Chandrababu Naidu's government,  the weavers community plunged into deep crisis . The incidence of committing suicides int eh community also increased. He called the weavers to ascertain the living standards of their own community in the TDP regime. 


 YS Jagan alleged that Naidu's government failed in disbursing subsidy to weavers every month.    The TDP chief made the promise of providing  Rs 600 to each weaver in 2014 election.
