Palamaneru: Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, who had joined the party, stated that making the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, the CM of the state was his main ambition. Speaking to the media on the occasion of his joining YSRCP, he stated that he would work selflessly for the party's consolidation. Acclaiming Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy's tenure as a golden era, he commented the development of the state had been lame after the great leader's demise. Criticising that the implementation of welfare schemes had become inefficient, he expressed concern about TDP's anti-people ways and added that he had joined YSRCP, attracted by YS Jagan's fight against those ways. He confided that the unity in the party would help hoist the party's Palamaneru constituency soon. Leaders from Chittoor constituency participated in the programme.
