We will fight till AP gets special status: YSRCP



Visakha: "We will fight till Andhra Pradesh gets Special status," said YSR Congress Party Visakha district president Gudivada Amaranath on Friday. He extended support to Andhrula Hakkula Atmagaurava Sabha in Visakha today. Speaking to the media at the deeksha camp, the YSRCP leader said that Chandrababu failed to pressurise the Centre to get the special status for the state. Chandrababu, who demanded 15 years of special status for AP, changed his stand after coming to power, he added.

Gudivada Amaranath also said that YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been fighting relentlessly for the Special Status. 
Several YSRCP leaders including Visakha east constituency convener Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, Kola Guruvulu, Tippala Nagi Reddy, Koyya Prasad Reddy and other participated in the deeksha. 

YSRCP women protest against AP speaker over remarks on women


Scores of women YSRCP members on Friday staged a protest at Gandhi statue against AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad for his “derogatory” remarks against women.
During the protest, the women raised slogans against the TDP and also sought an apology from Speaker for his remarks.
