TYSRCP Protests Against TRS

Hyderabad, Aug 19: YSR Congress would stage a silent protest at BR Ambedkar’s statue against the dictatorial attitude of TRS government for not extending an invite to the All Party meeting, slated for August 20, on the creation of new districts.
‘We are recognized political party and what is the yardstick TRS has been applying in sending the invites in beyond our comprehension. We will wait till the last minute and if we do not get the invite, which our constitutional right, we will stage a silent protest at the Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund,’ party spokesperson Konda Raghava Reddy told reporters here on Friday.
A party which has no representation in the Assembly has been invited to the meeting, TDP, whose floor leader has announced that the Party has merged with TRS has been invited but YSRCP was left off which has no valid reason as ours is a recognized political party which has won one MP and three MLA seats.
The defections issue is yet to be sorted out but the important meeting like creation of new districts should reflect the public opinion from our party as well, he said.
