TDP's Attacks With Cable Excuse

Narasaraopeta: TDP cadre attacked YSRCP leaders at Narasaraopeta of Guntur district. There are multiple incidents of assaults by TDP leaders on YSRCP cadre in the recent past and filing false cases against them in turn. The police are staying in support of the leaders too.

NCV Cable is being held by Nallapati Ramachandra Prasad under the name Raghavendra communication while K channel is under the conductin of speaker Kodela's son Dr.Kodela Siva Rama Krishna. On Sunday, about 300 cable operators and TDP activists deliberately attempted to attack NCV office. People related to Nallapati Ramu reached the place upon finding about it and a tense situation was built up. MLA Gopiredy Srinivas Reddy and YSRCP cadre reached the place too. TDP people attacked them with rocks. Head Constable M.Venkateswara Rao, Narsaraopeta ZPTC Sk.Noor-Ul-Aktab and party city president SA Haneef were seriously injured. The Qualis car belonging to the MLA was also damaged.

Another assault

Pamidipadu leader Lam Koteswara Rao and Nallapati Ramu were taken into custody by the police and moved to Phirangipuram police station. While MLA Dr.Gopireddy protested in front of the RDO office against the behaviour of the officials and the TDP's attacks, they attacked another cable office and damaged it along with equipment like laptops, computers, TVs and dishes and robbed HD set top boxes too. GDCC bank former president Nallapati Chandram was attacked with a crowbar when he tried to intervene. His left arm was fractured in the incident. NCV management informed that almost Rs.50 lakh property was lost in the attacks done by the people of TDP.
