TDP Pursuing Anti-Farmer Policies

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday party leader Bathula Brahmananda Reddy said ‘Chandrababu Naidu has been continuing with his anti-farmer policies and has been pursuing with the commercial agenda in the land pooling system which is detrimental to the interests of the farmers. The farming community is already in distress as they have become defaulters with the loan waiver promise not being fulfilled.

Added to that fertile land is being forcibly acquired from farmers for pittance and is being given to foreign companies on a platter with money changing hands and the real estate dealers cornering the money and farmers being left in the lurch with no land and no loans from banks.

We demand that the land acquisition should be stopped forthwith and all agriculture loans should be waived immediately, he said adding that the farmers’ ire would teach Chandrababu Naidu a fitting lesson in the ensuing elections.
