TDP making Centre scapegoat to cover up failures: VijaySai Reddy
12 Feb 2018 10:25 PM

YSRCP senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Vijay Sai Reddy said that the Telugu Desam Government was trying to make the Central Government a scapegoat in order to cover up its failures. Speaking on Monday, Vijay Sai Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP were singing praises of the Central Government for the last three and a half years claiming that it was allocating adequate funds. But, now, with the elections round the corner, it is trying to shift the blame on the Centre.
He also ridiculed the TDP MPs’ protest in Parliament, saying it was a mere tokenism and a show of fake emotions. He said the state has got mired in debts under the Chandrababu Naidu rule and said corruption has reached unmanageable proportions.
He said special category status was the only panacea for the debt and deficit ridden Andhra Pradesh. He said the state would develop only when special status is given to the state. He said his party would wage a relentless battle for special status and was ready to join hands with any political party to achieve special category status.
