Sharmila to begin Padayatra in Guntur Dt from 23

Hyderabad, Feb 22,
2013: Smt. Y.S.Sharmila will resume her Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra from
Feb 23, Saturday.
Smt. Sharmila has taken
a 2-day break from her Padayatra due to an election code being in force in
Guntur district. She was scheduled to enter Guntur district today by crossing
the Vadapally Bridge which connects Nalgonda and Guntur districts.
She has however decided
not to resume the Padayatra today in view of the bomb blasts in Hyderabad in
which 17 persons were killed and more than 100 persons injured.
Smt. Sharmila will
begin her Padayatra after entering the Guntur district Saturday morning,
according to Talasila Rahgu Ram, Padayatra coordinator.
Condemning the bomb
blasts, she asked the Government to take stringent measures to prevent
recurrence of such incidents and punish the culprits.
