Sharmila resumes Padayatra on 163rd day

Palakollu, May 29,
2013: Smt. Y. S. Sharmila resumed her Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra from
Brodipet in Palakollu town of WG district on 163rd day on Wednesday.
Scheduled to walk a distance of 11 km, she will cover the villages Jinnuru,
Vedangi and Kavitam during the day.
She walked a distance
of 5.6 km on 162nd day on Tuesday covering a total distance of
2142.8 km of her Padayatra at the end of the day.
Smt. Sharmila curtailed
her Padayatra yesterday due to her Deeksha at Palakollu protesting against the
continued illegal detention of YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
WG District YSRCP
Convener and MLA Tellam Balaraju, MLAs Alla Nani, Maddala Rajesh, Taneti
Vanita, MLC Meka Seshubabu, former minister Hari Rama Jogaiah and several other
local leaders of the party participated in the Deeksha along with her.
