Sharmila lodges complaint against websites

Hyderabad,
June 15, 2014: YSR Congress Party senior
leaders Y.V.Subba Reddy and D.A.Somayajulu on Saturday met the Commissioner of Police Mahendar Reddy
here and handed over the complaint of party leader Smt. Y.S. Sharmila who
sought action against the persons who had defamed her in social media websites.
“In
our complaint, we have sought action against those who had launched the smear
campaign against Smt. Sharmila in web sites. The police had assured they would
take action against the culprits,” said Subba Reddy, after lodging the
complaint.
He
said such smear campaigns should not be allowed against any woman in the
country. “Whoever is the culprit, he must be punished severely,” he said.
