Shameful To Encourage Faction
26 Dec 2016 10:11 AM
- It's shameful to encourage violence in peaceful villages
- One's politics should earn one a place in people's hearts
- It's atrocious to slaughter a person mercilessly
- I shall stand supportive of Ramireddy's family
- YS Jagan speaks to the media at Vempalle
Pulivendula: "An incident of this sort has not happened in these villages in the last 20 years. TDP leaders are acting wildly with the support of Chandrababu. Innocent people are being slaughtered for coming in their way of politics. Chandrababu should bend his head in shame for practising such politics", commented the leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, after he consoled the family of Ramireddy, the vice-president of Vempalle mandal, who had recently been murdered by TDP people.
Slamming Chandrababu for encouraging faction in otherwise peaceful countryside, he complained that envy towards Ramireddy's growth had caused his opponents to cruelly kill him. Opining that one's political behaviour should earn one a place in people's hearts, he condemned provocation of violence.
YS Jagan remarked that the number of people mourning for Ramireddy's demise showed what kind of a loved and respected leader he had been and that the sorrow of all these people would hit Babu.
