Ananthapuram: YSRCP leaders, Anantha Venkatrami Reddy, constituency coordinator Ketireddy Peddareddy and senior leader YS Vivekanand Reddy paid homage to Dr.YS Rajasekhar Reddy by decorating his statue in Tadipatri with flower garlands. Speaking on this occasion, they condemned the arrest of YSRCP MLA, Visweswar Reddy, who was fighting on behalf of people against their problems. They remarked that it was not right for the police to work with the instructions of TDP leaders. Tadipatri constituency's coordinator, Ketireddy Peddareddy, was hindered by the police earlier, as he tried to reach the place of the event.

Speaking on this occasion, Ketireddy stated that he would be in reach of the people and would fight against their problems with the inspiration of YS Jagan.

On the other hand, YSRCP MLA Visweswar Reddy was house-arrested by the police as he had held agitation in demand for sanction of pattas for housing plots for the poor. Bandh was conducted in Uravakonda, called for by the MLA.
