Security restored for Vijayamma, Sharmila

Sept 15: 2014: The Government of AP has restored the security cover to YSR
Congress Party honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma and Smt. Y.S. Sharmila.  

The
Government has restored the security for the two leaders after the Threat
Perception Reports indicated a threat to their lives. This was informed to the
hon’ble High Court by the Advocate General.  

It
may be recalled that the two leaders had approached the HC seeking restoration
of their security after Government withdrew protection. The state apex court
had since ordered the Government to continue the security for the petitioners
as earlier.
