YSR Congress leaders from Telangana are organizing 'Rytu Deeksha' to support the displaced farmers who have lost their lands in Kaleshwaram Project
The deeksha will be organised to give a voice to the hapless farmers and demand compensation to them.Party's Telangana president Gattu Srikanth Reddy demanded the Telangana Government to compensate the farmers as per the Land Acquisition Act-2013. He said that it is unfair on the part of the government to construct the project on the farmers lands. The Rythu Deeksha will be held on February 20 at Suraram village in Mahadevpur mandal under the leadership of Seggam Rajesh to stand by the displaced farmers of Medigadda, Kannepalli, Annaram and Brarejivall villages.
The poster of the Deeksha was launched in the Lotus Pond party office in Hyderabad.
The Telangana party president called upon farmers to join the deeksha and make it a grand success and mount pressure on the TRS government.
