Vijayawada: After being humiliated by the way she was stopped from attending World Women Parliament recently in Vijayawada, YSRCP MLA RK Roja on Tuesday filed a suit against the AP police. Finding fault with the police, Roja alleged that the policemen stopped her infringing her right even though the AP govt invited her to the event. Accepting the petition, the court adjourned the case till March 3.
It is unfair on the part of the police personnel to stop the YSRCP MLA from attending the event, Roja mentioned.
Roja was detained at the Gannavaram airport in Vijayawada after she arrived to attend the National Women's Parliament in Vijayawada on February 11.
