Hyderabad: Official spokesperson of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Vasireddy Padma said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) after joining hands with the Congress, planned to eliminate Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from politics. Speaking at a press conference at the party Central office here today, she said that the TDP leaders were trying to conceal their dirty politics by using their yellow media. The people of the State have been observing the developments after the attack on the YSRCP Chief, she added.

Vasireddy Padma called Chandrababu's attempts to play down the attack with his comments as cheap tactics. Recalling late MLA Paritala Ravi's statements over the threat to his life from Chandrababu, he said that the then CM Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy immediately ordered a CBI investigation.

Chandrababu Naidu does not have the courage to launch his own party, she added. The increasing following and support being received by YS Jagan was the reason behind the attack, she felt.

The YSRCP leader said that Chandrababu and the DGP's involvement in the attack was the reason behind the slow-paced investigation. From deception politics, Chandrababu stooped further down to the level of murder politics, she commented.
