Real face of YS Jagan attacker

Chandrababu Naidu, TDP bigwigs and large sections of the yellow media and other media outlets managed by TDP tried to portray the attacker who lunged at Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Visakhapatnam airport lounge yesterday afternoon as a lone wolf and a crazed fan of the YSRCP chief. However, sources have gone deeper into the background of the attacker Srinivasa Rao have unearthed some startling facts which are doing the rounds on social media.

Far from being a fan of YS Jagan and turning into a attacker for an inexplicable reason, Srinivasa Rao had studied up to only Class 10 in Thanelanka of East Godavari district.

Last year, Srinivasa Rao, it is learnt had carried out an attack on one, Kagitha Venkatesh and a case was registered in the Mummidivaram police station on this incident. Villagers say that Srinivasa Rao had been admonished by elders of the hamlet for getting involved in extra-marital relationships.

Sources say that Srinivasa Rao carried out this vicious attack on YS Jagan as per a clear plan. It is learnt that about a month ago, he had bought the weapon used in the attack, a sharp knife from a local vendor who makes such knives commonly employed in cockfights. When the knife seller asked him why he was buying this blade when it was not cockfight season, adding that he had never taken part in such events in any case, Srinivasa Rao is reported to have responded saying that it was meant for a different purpose.

Villagers who overheard the conversation, told sources that the pieces of the puzzle seemed to fit it when they recall this conversation and the murder attempt on YS Jagan's life on Srinivasa Rao.

Yet another fact revealed by villagers to sources sheds more light on recent developments in Srinivasa Rao's life. He reportedly threw a lavish party for his friends to celebrate his niece's birthday. His extravagance raised eyebrows in the village, it is learned, wondering as to where he managed to get such a large amount from. Evidently, Srinivasa Rao was not a man of means, nor were his family members. Sources say that from all these facts it emerges that Srinivasa Rao was specifically handpicked to carry out this murderous attack.
