Protesting against the Government's negligence towards the problems of drought and drinking water scarcity, YSRCP held agitations throughout the state. Leaders of the party held empty water pots and protested in front of Government offices in mandal headquarters. They explained the problems of drought and drinking water scarcity faced by the people. They condemned the Government for ignoring these problems.
Krishna: YSRCP leaders activists held protest in front of RDO office in Gudivada with empty water pots. At Pamarru, MLA Uppuleti Kalpana led the agitation in front of MRO office. Party leaders Parthasarathy, Gowtham Reddy, cotporators and activists protested with empty water pots at Gandhinagar in Vijayawada. All the leaders on this occasion, slammed the Government's failure.
Guntur: Activists and leaders of YSRCP led agitation with empty water pots under the leadership of MLA Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy in Narasaraopet and led by MLA Kona Raghupathi at municipal office in Bapatla. Protest was held under the leadership of Janga Krishamurthy at MRO office of Gurajala.
Visakhapatnam: Rallies were held in headquarters of 4 mandals of Madugula led by MLA Muthyala Naidu. Later, protests with empty pots were conducted. Leaders slammed the Government's failure. At Chodavaram, YSRCP constituency in-charge Karanam Dharmasree led protests in headquarters of 4 mandals. At Anakapalle, Janaki Ramaraju and Suribabu led the agitation with empty pots and submitted memorandum to the RDO.
Prakasam: MLA Janke Venkat Reddy led women and activists with empty water pots at RDO office of Markapuram. Under the leadership of Yanam Balaji and Desam Babu at Chirala MRO office and under the leadership of Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy at MRO office of Darsi, leaders and activists of YSRCP held protests. They handed over memoranda to officers regarding problems of drought and drinking water scarcity.
Ananthapuram: YSRCP leaders held protests in headquarters of 63 mandals in the district. Later, at MRO office of Ananthapuram, YSRCP senior leaders Anantha Venkatram Reddy and Gurnatha Reddy led agitation. MLA Visweswar Reddy led activists protesting with empty potsat MRO office of Kuderu. Led by ex.MLA Ketireddy Venkatram Reddy at Dharmavaram by Ramesh Reddy and Ramireddy at Tadiparti, protests were held. A huge agitation happened at MRO office of Penugonda under the leadership of district party president Sankar Narayana.
YSR district: Near MRO office of Rajampet, district party president Amarnath Reddy led the agitation while at MDO office of Mydukur, MLA Raghurami Reddy led it and at MRO office of Jammalamadugu, party leader Sudheer Reddy led a rally. All the leaders condemned the Government's failure in preventing the drought situation.
Chittoor: YSRCP leaders conducted agitation at RDO office of Tirupati, led by Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. Women and activists carried empty water pots in protest. Led by MLA Sunil Kumar, an agitation was held at MRO office of Bangarupalem. Near the MRO office of Punganuru, Peddireddy Dwarakanath Reddy led empty pot protest with YSRCP activists.
