President Rule unfortunate: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Feb 28, 2014:
Describing as unfortunate the decision to impose President’s Rule in the state
after the much hyped deliberations for ten days, YSR Congress has said that the
Congress Party has run away from responsibilities and could not form a
government which shows it is on the verge of being extinct in the state and
country as well.

“People of Andhra Pradesh
have voted Congress to power with a view that it would provide stability but
the Party has given up its hopes in forming the government and has recommended
for President’s Rule which shows that the Party is on the verge of total
collapse,’ party senior leader Dr MV Mysoora Reddy told reporters here on

The Party MLAs are running
helter-skelter for political cover after gauging the situation and concluding
that the Congress boat is sinking and it is time for Sonia Gandhi and Rahul
Gandhi pack their bags. “They have created much hype of forming a government
and floated some names even but finally gave up as the situation was hopeless
and the Party is facing a certain rout.”

Without taking the name of
Jairam Ramesh, he said, the person who was nominated to the Upper House was
part of the team that has drafted a Bill which has many loopholes and has
whipped regional passions. He made many promises of special status and package,
schools, universities and many other sops to Seemandhra.

These are all empty
promises and they cannot be fulfilled with elections very close at hand and
surveys pointedly telling that Congress will get just 50 -60 seats.  What the Union Minister has said or the
assurances made by the Prime Minister were not included in the Bill and there
is no scope for anyone to question if they are not taken up in the coming days.

These are the last days of
the Nehru dynasty rule as the past five years had seen no governance. In state
the government survived with the help of TDP.

In the post poll scenario,
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will play a key role in national politics and will support
any party or candidate that would care for development of Telugu people.

“Our party President has
met leaders of national and regional parties including AGP, TMC, JD (U), DML,
AIDMK, Shiv Sena, Akali Dal and others and impressed upon them that article 3
needs to be amended as it could be misused,” he said.

The Odarpu Yatra of YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy will resume and will go on in all regions.
