Please Stop People’s Thirst

Assembly: YSRCP MLA SV Mohan Reddy appealed TDP minister for the solution of the
problem of drinking water being faced by the residents of Kurnool. Speaking
during the question hour of the assembly session, he informed that Sunkesula
barrage was the primary source of drinking water for the people of Kurnool. He
added that the 0.4 TMC of water that was now present in Sunkesula would be
sufficient only for a month. He demanded for the 1 TMC water that was rightfully
supposed to come to the state from Tungabhadra River. He appealed the
Government for the alleviation people’s thirst.
