People across state praying for YS Jagan's health

People from all over the state are praying for Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s quick recovery from the injuries. After an attack on the life of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Visakhapatnam, in which he had a providential escape, people from different religions are praying for the leader’s health all over the state. YSR Congress Party workers across Andhra Pradesh conducted special pujas and held candlelight marches wishing their leader to get well soon. Leaders from Chittoor, Satyavedu, Pileru, Punganur have offered special prayers for the leader’s fast recovery.

In Anantapur district special pujas were performed in Kadiri, Tadipatri, Dharmavaram. Leaders of the party accused the ruling TDP of being behind the attack.

In Guntur district’s Mangalagiri, Prathipadu, Ponnuru, Sattenapalli, Tadikonda, and Vemuru, special pujas were done by the cadre in temples, churches and mosques.

Police has become a pawn in the hands of TDP and was downplaying the seriousness of the attack saideaders from East Godavari District. YSRCP leaders from the district offered the prayers for the recovery of their leader. All the allegations laid on the YSR Congress party will be given a fitting reply said the leaders. “We stand united for the leader,” they added.

Leaders and workers from Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore district offered special prayers for the people’s leader in Dargahs, temples and Churches. Fans of the leader in the Kuwait who are natives of Nellore district’s Podalakur village offered namaz for the injured leader’s good health.

In Srikakulam district people came on to the streets to protest against the attack on their leader. In Gummalakshmipuram and Vepada villages YSRCP workers and sympathisers blocked roads in protest.

In Vizianagaram, people expressed their anguish by taking to the roads and offered prayers in the local temples and churches for the good health of the leader. In Visakhapatnam and Prakasam districts, special prayers were offered by the party cadres for the people’s leader. In Markapur of Prakasam district the Brahmin association performed Mrutunyaja homa for the leader’s well being.

In the Parchur Kanyaka Parameshwari temple special pujas were conducted for the leader’s quick speedy recovery. Muslims and Christians in Prakasam district also offered prayers. Similar prayers were offered in villages and towns in all districts of the state.
