Peddireddy Writes To The Speaker

Hyderabad: Privilege Committee member, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, wrote to Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao, finding fault in the intervention of the committee's members in the inquiry of the MLAs who had received notices over the incidents that had happened in the last September. He suggested that it was unfortunate that the committee members had interrupted the MLAs during their explanation and stated that they had come there as they had done wrong.
Peddireddy criticised the committee members' considering the MLAs as bandits and called the behaviour insulting to the committee, suggesting that the members should rather behave with dignity. He suggested to the speaker to ensure that the committee members did not intervene and insult them while the summoned MLAs spoke.
