Not Giving SCS Means Cheating People

New Delhi: Criticising the lack of mention of AP's special category status in the president's speech at the parliament, YSRCP MP, Velagapalli Vara Prasad Rao, remarked that not sanctioning SCS to AP was nothing but deceiving the people of AP. As part of the resolution to thank the president's address, he spoke in the house to state this opinion.

Demanding that the promise made by all national parties and leaders to sanction SCS and special railway zone to AP should be implemented immediately, he commented that SCs and STs were having to face injustice in the matter of sanction of gas connections and loans under Stand Up India scheme.
