No Confidence Motion against the Ruling Party-Defending Speaker

Hyderabad: YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy criticized speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao by saying that the speaker of the Legislative Assembly who was supposed to look after all the members of the house like a father of kids was showing favouritism and suppressing the voice of the opposition and defending the ruling party. Kotamreddy spoke regarding the No Confidence Motion admitted in the assembly against the speaker. He supposed that it was tyrannical of the speaker to act in support of the CM. He commented that there seemed to be no difference between a party activist and the assembly’s speaker.

He condemned the speaker for not controlling the situation when everybody including the CM and the ministers tried to interrupt leader of opposition YS Jagan’s speech. Kotamreddy slammed him for not intervening when the ruling party leaders were verbally abusing the leader of opposition. Being in the respectful position of the speaker, Kodela disregarded the people’s feelings, ethics and morals, hence the No Confidence Motion, remarked Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy. He cautioned that the people were observing how the assembly’s regulations were being insulted.
